 In this era of Internet the demands of softwares and websites are increasing day by day so it increase the need of software and web developers. Here are the some programming languages required for making career as a Software developer and Web developer.

Now we shall first discuss about languages required for web development.

HTML

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.  It was found in year 1993 by Tim Berners Lee .Tim Berners Lee wrote the first version of HTML. Since there have been many different versions of HTML.

HTML is used to code a structure of web page and its content. It can be written on any text editor and run on browser. HTML is preferred by most of the web developers. 

XML

XML stands for Extensible Markup Language. it defines the set of rules for encoding documents that is both human readable and machine readable. It was published by W3C Consortium in the year of 1996.

Its file extension name is .xml . By the help of  this website tables, graphs and lists can be added to the content of website. Its code can be written on any text editor and executed on any browser.

PHP

PHP is a general purpose scripting language. It was created by Rasmus Lerdorf in 1994. It is usually suited for Web Development. By the help of this we can create various websites such as shopping sites, blogging sites. 

It can run on Xampp browser. It is mostly used by the web developers but it has chances of vulnerability in making web sites because there are many ways to inject any php  web sites by using injections or any type of injections.

KOTLIN

Kotlin is a programming language introduced by JetBrains, the official designer of the most intelligent Java IDE. This is a strongly statically typed language that runs on JVM. In 2017, Google announced Kotlin is an official language for android development. Kotlin is an open source programming language that combines object-oriented programming and functional features into a unique platform.

It can be run on Net Beans, Eclipse.

SWIFT

 Swift is a general-purpose, multi-paradigm, compiled programming language developed by Apple Inc. and the open-source community, first released in 2014. Swift was developed as a replacement for Apple's earlier programming language Objective-C, as Objective-C had been largely unchanged since the early 1980s and lacked modern language features. Swift works with Apple's Cocoa and Cocoa Touch frameworks, and a key aspect of Swift's design was the ability to interoperate with the huge body of existing Objective-C code developed for Apple products over the previous decades.

RUBY

Ruby is a pure object-oriented programming language. It was created in 1993 by Yukihiro Matsumoto of Japan.

Ruby has features that are similar to those of Smalltalk, Perl, and Python. Perl, Python, and Smalltalk are scripting languages. Smalltalk is a true object-oriented language. Ruby, like Smalltalk, is a perfect object-oriented language. Using Ruby syntax is much easier than using Smalltalk syntax.

It can be run on RUBYWIN and RUBY DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT.
